- Maggie BI thought I had a few years before the “rescuing animals phase” started 🙃 But last night my dog & 3 year old found a baby bird in our yard. I thought he was a goner but as soon as I got a dropper to his mouth he perked up & started drinking. Since he survived the night I contacted Liz at For the Birds of Indiana. Between her precious British accent & her sweet , sweet soul I couldn’t help but fall in love with this wonderful woman! She told me to wrap him up & get him to her ASAP ☺️ She promised she’d do her best to save “Jonathan” (..my son declared his name to be😆). I wish there were more people in the World like Liz! 🤍 GoodLuck Jonathan!!! & Thank you Liz!!!
- Rachel AWe found a baby bird with a broken leg in our gutter. The bird wasn’t quite old enough to fly. I called Liz and explained the situation. She asked us to bring the bird to her. She checked it out and sure enough his leg was broken. Very sweet lady. She knew her stuff. I would recommend this place to anyone.
- Tina RCalled and spoke to them today about a baby bird not moving much and sitting alone in our yard for hours. Advised me to watch from a distance inside the house. I thought was okay but he remained by himself. Liz said he either hurt his eye and was stunned or had an infection. She took him in. Grateful for her.
